Hike & Steam (T1)

The weather on Ascention Day is forecast to be very rainy.
So we move this to Sunday.
This is a fairly flat hike along the Limmat from Neuenhof towards Zürich.
Towards the end, we stop-over (or finish) at a place where they operate live steam outdoor model trains on 5 inch and 7 inch tracks. This weekend is when they have their annual open days.

MEETING:

*08:05h: Meet at Zürich HB under the «Blue Angel»

TRAVEL OUTBOUND:* 08:14h: S12 Zürich HB (pf. 41/42, dir. «Brugg AG») to Neuenhof
*08:36h: Arrival at Neuenhof and start of the hike

HIKE DATA:* Duration: 5¾ hrs (plus breaks)
Distance: 24 km Ascent/Descent: 160m/140m

HIGHLIGHT & STOP-OVER:

At ca. 14:00h, stop-over at the outdoor steam engine club at Zürich-Tüffenwies. Let's take a ride … I have factored in a stop-over of about 1 hour for this (look around, ride, food, drinks)
