Welsh rock powerhouse Holding Absence is set to embark on their inaugural Australian headline tour this August! Joining them is the electrifying California metalcore band Kingdom of Giants. After previously supporting acts like Thornhill, Void Of Vision, and You Me At Six, Holding Absence is ready to take the stage in several cities as headliners for the very first time.

Over the last decade, this Cardiff trio has built a dedicated global fanbase and is known for their captivating live performances. With hundreds of millions of streams across the globe, they have toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe, North America, and Australia. Their poignant new single, Whisper Of A Dream, marks their first new release under Sumerian Records, following the impactful album The Noble Art Of Self-Destruction.

Since their formation in 2015, Holding Absence has established themselves as frontrunners in the modern post-hardcore scene. The Noble Art Of Self-Destruction concludes a trilogy that began with their self-titled debut in 2019, followed by The Greatest Mistake Of My Life in 2021.

Returning to Australia for this tour is Kingdom of Giants, who recently completed a run with Bury Tomorrow. Since their last visit, they’ve dropped two new EPs, Bleeding Star and Burning Chrome, and are excited to bring their cinematic and impactful take on heavy music to Aussie fans. Their sound creatively intertwines elements of synthwave and cyberpunk, pushing the limits of modern heavy music.
