Horse Lords

Join us for an exciting performance by Horse Lords on November 11th at the ICA!

Founded in Baltimore in 2010, Horse Lords emerged from the experimental collective Teeth Mountain. The band started as a trio with drummer Sam Haberman, guitarist Owen Gardner, and bassist Max Eilbacher, later adding alto saxophonist Andrew Bernstein.

Their sound transcends the typical boundaries of instrumental electric rock, drawing from the vibrant Baltimore noise and leftfield rock scene that has birthed many influential bands like Lungfish and Matmos.

With ten studio, live, and collaboration albums under their belt, along with a split EP with fellow Baltimoreans Lower Dens, Horse Lords continue to push musical boundaries. They have also collaborated with Berlin-based composer Arnold Dreyblatt for RVNG’s FRKWYS series, showcasing their innovative approach to music.
