In this lecture series, inherit fellows will delve into the exploration of heritage through their multidisciplinary research approaches. This semester, we focus on inheritance, examining themes such as colonial legacies, ancestral remains, genetic memory, religious rituals, and postcolonial art. The lectures will unpack how inheritance influences belonging, identity, and knowledge, inviting the audience to rethink the ethics and possibilities of engaging with the past in the present. 🎨
Our contributors include artists from various media and researchers across diverse fields in the humanities and social sciences, including Anthropology, Art History, History, Literature, Philosophy, Political Sciences, and Sociology.
We can't wait to see you there! 👋
