Intro to Sewing - Aug 8 - Lesson 7: Class Party, Zippers, Velcro, and Technique Cards

Join us for Intro to Sewing, a hands-on class designed for all ages from middle school to adult! This series welcomes true beginners and returning sewists alike. Guided by How to Use Your Sewing Machine by Alison McNicol, you will build confidence in using a sewing machine and complete a variety of fun projects.

What You'll Learn:

• Identify sewing machine parts
• Thread and operate a sewing machine
• Sew basic stitches
• Read simple patterns
• Create useful sewing projects

No prior experience required!

Class Details:

• 🕚 When: 11 AM - 1 PM on 2nd Saturdays
• 📍 Where: Gore Hall at First Unitarian Church of Orlando
• 💵 Cost: $10 per class

Important Info:

• 📧 Email mysticgrove@orlandouu.org to register. Class is limited to 12 students.
• 🧒 Minors must attend with a parent or guardian.
• 🧵 Bring your own sewing machine and basic sewing kit.
