Inwood Canoe Club’s Sunday Open House

Join us for our FREE Sunday Open House at the Inwood Canoe Club, where you can experience guided 20-minute kayak trips on the beautiful Hudson River, just north of the iconic George Washington Bridge! 🌉

Important Information:

• Season Waiver: Please complete your 2025 SEASON WAIVER before your first visit this year.
• Signup: Starts in person at 9 a.m. for three guided “waves” on a first come, first served basis. Make sure to return to the boathouse on time to keep your spot!

Paddle Time Waves:

• WAVE 1: Arrive at 9:45 a.m., launch at 10 a.m.
• WAVE 2: Arrive at 10:30 a.m., launch at 10:45 a.m.
• WAVE 3: Arrive at 11:15 a.m., launch at 11:30 a.m.

What to Expect:

• Kayak using our 12 sit-on-top kayaks or enjoy a tandem kayak experience with a friend!
• Gather your family and friends or make new acquaintances on our “canoemaran,” which accommodates up to six guests and two ICC “Turtles” (members).

Details You Need to Know:

• All participants must be able to swim.
• Minimum age of 8 years. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Conditions permitting, minors may participate at the discretion of the club member overseeing the event.
• We provide the boat, paddle, and PFD (personal flotation device/life vest). Previous paddling experience is not required!
• Wear clothing and shoes that can get wet to enjoy the full experience!
• Please avoid bringing valuables; use a waterproof bag for necessary items, as ICC is not liable for lost items.
• No pets allowed at the Open House.
