Join us for an exceptional night of contemporary jazz at Lauderdale House with the award-winning guitarist Rob Luft and his acclaimed quartet! Recently honored as the Instrumentalist of the Year at the 2025 British Parliamentary Jazz Awards, Rob Luft is one of the UK's most exciting jazz talents. Known for his warm, lyrical playing style, reminiscent of greats like Pat Metheny and Kurt Rosenwinkel, Luft promises an unforgettable musical experience.

Rob first gained recognition with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra at the BBC Proms and has since captured the spotlight by winning the Silver Prize at the Montreux Jazz Guitar Competition. His debut album, Riser, was featured in DownBeat Magazine’s best albums of the year, solidifying his presence in the jazz world. His follow-up works, Life Is The Dancer and Dahab Days, further showcase his burgeoning international acclaim.

The quartet features talented musicians from the UK jazz scene: Joe Wright on tenor saxophone, Tom McCredie on bass, and Jay Davis on drums. Together, they create a vibrant and expressive sound, blending original compositions with adventurous improvisation.
