Kampung Soup Kitchen #2: Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese

Hi everyone! 👋

Welcome to Kampung Soup Kitchen! This is a delightful, free community gathering where you'll enjoy homemade soup and the warm company of others. It's all about slowing down, sharing meals, and building connections through the spirit of the kampung.

This session will take place at Tampines Green with logistics support from Tampines Green RN.
Priority registration will be given to residents of Tampines Green and nearby areas, with any remaining spots offered to the wider public later.

Here’s what’s on the menu for our upcoming session:

🍅 Roasted Tomato Soup
A delicious dairy-free tomato soup made from roasted tomatoes, garlic, onions, carrots, and herbs. Optional cream available upon request.

🥪 Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Perfect for those who love dairy!

🥖 Garlic Herb Toast
A great non-dairy alternative.

Potential allergens: Gluten/Wheat, dairy/milk, eggs, soy, sesame, garlic, onion, tomato, herbs, and spices.

We’re finalizing venue arrangements to make it inclusive for Muslim residents, and the necessary equipment will be properly prepared.

Please bring your own heat-proof bowl and spoon to help reduce waste. A takeaway container is also recommended!

🕟 Event time: 4.30 PM to 8.30 PM
🍲 Soup service starts: around 5.00 PM, while stocks last
💰 Cost: Free
Note: The event may last until around 10 PM, but it officially ends by 8.30 PM to allow attendees to grab dinner nearby.

Slots are limited to ensure manageable food and seating arrangements, with around 90-100 spots available for registered participants. Walk-ins will be served only if food is left over.

Photography and videography will occur during the event. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us at the event.

If you register, please make sure to show up! If something comes up, kindly cancel your slot or inform us so someone else can join.
