Since 2011, Girls on the Run Southcentral Alaska has inspired over 2,600 girls through an evidence-based program that combines physical activity with essential life skills development. In response to rising concerns about youth mental health and physical inactivity, this program offers transformational experiences through interactive lessons and movement-based activities.

Recognized nationally for its impact, Girls on the Run was highlighted by U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy for its unique approach that integrates physical activity with social-emotional learning.
