Lisbon Women of Color Meetup

Hey ladies!
Welcome to the fourth monthly meetup for Women of Color Lisbon (racialized and ethnic minorities).

The votes are in - this month we'll be having a picnic! Bring food and drink to share as well as plates, cups, forks, picnic blankets, and joy because summer's basically here!

*if you'd like, feel free to bring a picnic-friendly dish representing your home country or culture!
It will be a great opportunity to meet, mingle, and make new friends and community! Come and bring a friend too if you'd like. Feel free to join at any time!
If, for some reason, not enough women are available on this day, I'll update the event and you will receive a message.

Members are welcome to suggest future events such as:

• cultural film festivals
• music performances
• art exhibitions
• coffee/drink meetups
• restaurant dinners exploring diverse cuisines

...and anything else. Feel free to suggest/host an upcoming event!

*We define women of color or people of color (WOC, POC) as an umbrella term to encompass racialized or ethnic minority individuals living here in Portugal, who originate from the Global South. This mainly covers African, Asian, Latin American, Middle Eastern, Pacific Islander, and other Indigenous diasporas. Other terms: Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME); or Global Majority.

We also welcome individuals who identify as women of color including queer and non-binary folx of color too!

Olá, meninas!
Bem-vindas ao quarto encontro mensal do Mulheres de Cor de Lisboa (minorias racializadas e étnicas).
As mulheres votaram — este mês vamos fazer um piquenique! Tragam comida e bebida para partilhar, bem como pratos, copos, garfos, mantas de piquenique, e alegria porque o verão já está praticamente aí!
*Se quiserem, sintam-se à vontade para trazer um prato fácil de partilhar num piquenique que represente o vosso país de origem ou a vossa cultura!
Se, por algum motivo, não houver mulheres suficientes disponíveis neste dia, atualizarei o evento e receberão uma mensagem.
As participantes são convidadas a sugerir eventos futuros, tais como:

• festivais de cinema cultural
• espetáculos musicais
• exposições de arte
• encontros para tomar café/bebidas
• jantares em restaurantes para explorar cozinhas diversas ... e qualquer outra coisa.
  Fique à vontade para sugerir/organizar um evento futuro!
  Em caso que se identifica como mulher de cor e gostarias de se juntar ao grupo do WhatsApp, por favor envia-me uma mensagem.
  *Definimos mulheres de cor ou pessoas de cor (WOC, POC) como um termo para incluir indivíduos de minorias raciais ou étnicas que vivem aqui em Portugal, originários do Sul Global. Isto abrange principalmente as diásporas africanas, asiáticas, latino-americanas, do Médio Oriente, das ilhas do Pacífico e outras diásporas indígenas. Outros termos: Negros, Asiáticos e Minorias Étnicas (BAME); ou Maioria Global.
  Tambem acolhemos pessoas que se identificam como mulheres de cor, incluindo pessoas queer e não binárias de cor!
