🎨 Love Luggage®: Illustrators Unite for Foster Kids To celebrate Foster Care Awareness Month, Unclaimed Baggage is partnering with the Society of Illustrators in New York City on May 2nd to host an event where art meets purpose. In the U.S., more than 300,000 children are in foster care, many moving from home to home with their belongings in a garbage bag. Love Luggage® is changing that by providing children with something far more meaningful: a suitcase that represents dignity, care, and belonging.💛 What to expect:- Live painting by renowned children’s book illustrators- Guests and students creating suitcases to be donated to foster children- Readings of Tuesday’s Bear- A chance to witness (and be part of) art that makes a real impact- A special media + community celebration🧳 Each suitcase created will go directly to a child in foster care or become part of a traveling art installation raising awareness across the country.🎟️ Free to the public! 📍 Society of Illustrators, New York City⏰ May 2, 2026, 11am-3pmEvery child deserves to carry their story with dignity.
