His Americana sound is driven by vivid storytelling and delivered through more than 200 live performances each year as a full-time musician. A genre-defying guitarist rooted in Texas blues, Morris blends country, Americana, and R&B/hip-hop, employing everything from delicate melodic leads to gritty solos and evocative slide work. “We’re All Still Here,” written after being displaced by Hurricane Ian, reflects his ability to turn lived experience into resonant songwriting.
