Born and raised in Houston, TX, Mathias Lattin has quickly established himself as an artist to watch, as noted by Living Blues Magazine. At just 20 years old, he made history by winning the 2023 International Blues Challenge, earning accolades for both Best Band and Best Blues Guitarist—an achievement shared by only two others before him.

Now at 24, Mathias has shared the stage with legendary figures such as Buddy Guy, Jimmie Vaughan, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Eric Gales, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Samantha Fish, and Joe Bonamassa. His ability to blend modern blues rock with classic influences makes him one of today's most promising young guitarists.

Mixing elements from Jazz, classical, funk, and soul, Mathias delivers a unique take on the blues, infused with the essence of his Houston roots. Despite being the grandson of NBA Hall of Famer David Lattin, Mathias chose the path of music, showcasing a work ethic that mirrors his sporting heritage.
