Boomtown is Miles' ninth album featuring original compositions and reflects a major evolution in his sound, emphasizing large ensembles and diverse voices on identical instruments. Inspired by a road trip through Wyoming, this album weaves large-scale narratives and revisits themes from his previous project, Miniature America.
