Monsters & Halloween Sculpted Glass Plant Stakes – October 3

Join instructor Ilene Schenkel for a fun and creative flameworking class designed for beginners! 🌟 In this session, you'll learn to work with soft Italian glass to create quirky monsters and ghosts that will add a splash of creativity to your potted plants or fairy gardens. 🪴✨

What You’ll Learn:

• Melting glass on a stainless steel rod
• Shaping unique monster and ghost bodies
• Creating eyes, mouths, teeth, and more using specialized flameworking tools

Your creations will be around 9-11 inches tall, perfect for bringing life to your greenery! 🎉 All materials are included in the tuition, and your plant stakes will require overnight annealing, making them ready for pick-up within 2 days after class.

Important Notes:

• Please avoid wearing synthetic fabrics.
• Bring water & a packed lunch (there’s a full-sized refrigerator and microwave available).
• An approximate 45-minute lunch break will be provided, with nearby takeout options such as Chella’s on Queen, Sa La Thai, Cafe Onions, Rachel’s Creperie, and Brooklyn Pizza Grill & Pasta.
