Australia's thrash metal pioneers are back on European soil! Established in Sydney in 1985, Mortal Sin were trailblazers in the thrash metal scene, known for their raw sound at a time when the genre was just taking root. Their iconic debut album, Mayhemic Destruction, recorded in just three days at Studio 301 in Sydney and self-released in 1986, quickly garnered attention, leading to a global release through Vertigo Records in 1987. With rave reviews from the UK metal press, the album is celebrated as a classic. Kerrang! featured them as a band to watch, and they toured with legends like Metallica, Testament, Faith No More, and Megadeth — making history as the first Australian thrash band to take the stage internationally. After years of breakups and reunions, Mortal Sin announced their latest comeback in mid-2025 and is now taking the 40th anniversary celebration of Mayhemic Destruction around the world. On August 19th, they bring the mayhem to The Abyss in Gothenburg — expect the full blast of their groundbreaking album, played the way it was meant to be!

🤘 MAN MACHINE INDUSTRY (SWE)
Hailing from Stockholm, Man Machine Industry formed in 2000 under the leadership of J. "Berget" Bergman, known for his previous work with Slapdash (Nuclear Blast) and Rosicrucian (Black Mark). With notable albums released through GMR Music Group, such as White Trash Devil in a Jesus Christ Pose (2010), Lean Back, Relax and Watch the World Burn (2012), Box of Horrors (2016), and Doomsday Clock (2020), MMI has carved out a distinctive space in the vibrant Swedish metal scene.
