Music Theatre Audition Technique Workshop

Are you preparing for an audition for a music theatre program or production? 🌟 Join us for a comprehensive workshop designed to enhance your audition skills and give you a competitive edge in this challenging field.

This 2.5-hour session will cover:

• Essential Tips on how to present audition videos
• Techniques for live auditions

🎤 Mock Auditions:
Participants will have the opportunity to take part in mock live auditions, critiqued by staff from the Conservatorium’s music theatre department in a friendly and constructive environment. Please note that this is optional.

This workshop is an invaluable chance to ensure top-notch preparation for your audition while also gaining insights into the Conservatorium’s music theatre degree program. Remember, this session is entirely optional and is not a prerequisite for any of the Conservatorium’s Bachelor or Diploma of Music degrees in music theatre.

✨ Mock Auditions Details:
We will be using the Conservatorium’s undergraduate music theatre audition format as a guideline for the mock sessions. To maximize your experience, we recommend familiarizing yourself with the audition requirements outlined in the Undergraduate Audition Guide.

🚨 Important Note:
Due to time limitations, not all participants may get a chance for a mock audition. Volunteers will be asked on the day, but whether you audition or observe, you’ll gain valuable insights. If you wish to participate in a mock audition, please bring a piano score for the accompanist!
