NIGHT, MA: ELIZABETH KNOX
Join acclaimed novelist Elizabeth Knox as she discusses her poignant memoir, Night, Ma. After 12 years in the making, this memoir shares the profound journey through three-and-a-half years of turmoil—featuring her sister's psychotic break, her brother-in-law's tragic death, and her mother's diagnosis of motor neurone disease. In conversation with Ingrid Horrocks, they'll explore themes of illness, family, care, love, and the art of storytelling in memoir while reflecting on the isolation of unspeakable experiences.
