The Johnstown Company Duo

The Johnstown Company started as a nine-member band created as a tribute to Bruce Springsteen by vocalist and guitarist Petter Isaksson in the summer of 2024. Their first performance was for thousands of Bruce fans on the rooftop terrace of Mall of Scandinavia, coinciding with Springsteen's shows at Strawberry Arena that summer.

Since then, they have performed in several Swedish cities, with standout shows at Trädgårn in Gothenburg and Kägelbanan in Stockholm.

Under the name the Johnstown Company Duo, Petter and the band's pianist Björn Ende will present more stripped-down and intimate versions of songs from Springsteen's repertoire. On October 26, they will perform at Musikhuset in Gävle.

This event is organized by Musikhuset Gävle and Kulturhjältarna Uppsala, with support from Gävle Kommun through the initiative Kultur för äldre, Region Gävleborg, and Göranssonska stiftelser.
