However, this notion is undergoing scrutiny in light of urgent environmental, climate, and biodiversity crises. It's becoming increasingly evident that other animals are not merely collateral damage in human political decisions but are integral to discussions about rights and well-being.

As the conversation around the rights of nature and interspecies democracy gains momentum, we ask crucial questions: How can we incorporate other species into our political framework? Do animals possess a form of political subjecthood? How can we advance the idea of interspecies democracy beyond mere artistic speculation?
