Pacific Mission: Plastic Odyssey doc screening & Q+A with a scientist

Join us for the Dutch premiere of the powerful documentary Pacific Mission! 🎥 Expect an intimate evening filled with film, conversation, and inspiration!

Directed by Pierre De Parscau and produced by Les Gens Bien Production & Plastic Odyssey, this film chronicles the monumental effort by the Plastic Odyssey crew to tackle one of the world's pressing environmental challenges. They embark on an unprecedented mission in the heart of the Pacific Ocean, aiming to extract and recycle over 10 metric tons (22,000 pounds) of plastic waste from the shores of Henderson Island, the remote atoll known for having the highest density of plastic debris globally.

This “impossible mission” sparks a race to protect nature, raise awareness about the plastic crisis, and empower local communities in Pitcairn Island to turn waste into building materials. 🌍

The evening will be expertly hosted by Dr. Hanna Dijkstra, who not only participated in this mission but is also featured in the film! She will be available to answer your questions after the screening. 🙋‍♀️
