Petra Vlková & Sonic Playground

The concert of the Petra Vlková & Sonic Playground will take place in jazz club U Staré paní. In this ensemble of full jazz commitment, singer Petra Vlková, guitarist Libor Šmoldas and pianist Mikuláš Pokorný share equal roles. Singing occasionally becomes a third musical instrument, with instruments switching between solo expression and accompanying function. The aim was to create an open space supporting playfulness and creativity in interpreting lesser-known jazz and non-jazz material. The trio's performances are characterized by great mutual musical and human well-being, which organically transfers to the audience, including the joy of creating music as complex, space-providing and truly alive as jazz.
