Plano Tennis Skills & Match Play @ Russell Creek Park

Welcome everyone! 🎉

This event is designed for players of all levels, from beginners to intermediate/advanced athletes looking to enhance their game while enjoying competitive play.

Event Format:

• 🎯 1st Hour: Collaborative Technical Practice

  • Each week, we'll focus on specific aspects of the game such as serves, returns, volleys, footwork, consistency, and doubles positioning. This is not formal coaching, but a supportive environment where players learn from each other through drills and feedback.

• 🎾 2nd Hour: Match Play & Skill Application

  • We'll put those skills into action with rallying, doubles, and singles games in a fun and competitive setting.

Event Details:

• 📍 Location: Rice Middle School Tennis Courts (Russell Creek Park), Plano
• 🗓️ When: Every Friday
• ⏰ Time: 6:15 PM – 8:15 PM
• 🎾 Court Information: 2 free public courts (maximum 8 players)

📱 We use WhatsApp for communication, including updates, weather notifications, and last-minute announcements. If Russell Creek is unavailable, we may relocate to Jasper High School or another nearby PISD public tennis court.

💧 Please bring water, your racquet, and a few tennis balls if you have them. Let's respect fellow players, encourage one another, and come ready to learn, improve, and have fun! ⚠️ Participation is at your own risk.
