QCBC Monthly Meeting: Peter Mundale “Saltmarshes in New York”

Join us for an engaging session with Peter Mundale, a dedicated field technician in avian research and conservation! 🌅 Peter has an inspiring life-long passion for the outdoors and birds, sparked at age 8 by reading Peterson Field Guides. His love for birdwatching was further ignited by his first visit to Hawk Ridge in 2010.

With over 16 years of experience, Peter has worked in various roles, including a Counter, Naturalist, and Bander at Hawk Ridge Bird Observatory. His fieldwork spans exciting projects like tracking Boreal Chickadees and researching Seaside & Saltmarsh Sparrows. Passionate about hawk watching, Peter cherishes the mesmerizing spectacle of migration and loves sharing his experiences with fellow enthusiasts! 🦅

When he's not birding (which is rare!), Peter enjoys hiking, camping, snowshoeing, photography, mothing, and dragonfly hunting!
