Relief Printmaking Basics with Llewyn Embers

Join us for a beginner-friendly class that dives into the exciting world of relief printmaking!

👥 Age Range: 13+

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of relief printmaking! Students will draw and carve their designs onto rubber blocks and discover how to use ink and rollers to create stunning mini postcards. 🖨️ At the end of the class, each participant will take home their unique postcard along with their carved block.

This class is perfect for family activities or for those looking to expand their knowledge in printmaking. All supplies will be provided!

Instructor: Llewyn Embers
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas A&M University, Llewyn has been immersed in printmaking since 2019. His diverse skills range from painting to ceramics and costume creations. Llewyn has participated in numerous events, including Kingsville Steam Roller events and PrintAustin, showcasing his artwork that blends surrealism with western and punk rock cultures. Co-owner of LTEmbers Creations, Llewyn is dedicated to promoting art, education, and exciting events in the community. You may encounter him around Corpus Christi, creating murals or selling hand-printed t-shirts at pop-up booths!
