About Pride Month

Pride Month is celebrated every June to honor the historic 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan, which marked a pivotal moment for the Gay Liberation Movement in the U.S. What began as a single day has blossomed into a month-long celebration filled with parades, picnics, parties, workshops, and concerts, drawing millions from around the globe. During this special month, we also remember those we've lost to hate crimes and HIV/AIDS, acknowledging the significant contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals to our shared history. 🏳️‍🌈
