The Rice Park Music Series is back for 2026! 🌞 Join us on Wednesdays from June 3rd to August 26th at Rice Park for midday tunes and delicious food trucks right in the heart of St. Paul!

✨ It's the PERFECT way to spend your summer lunch break with FREE concerts featuring a fantastic lineup of local Minnesota musicians each week, along with amazing food truck options to spice up your work day. See you Downtown!

About This Week's Artist: Chris Bertrand

Chris Bertrand is a talented singer/songwriter hailing from southern Minnesota, fully dedicated to his music. 🎤 You might have seen him perform at various venues like bars, breweries, weddings, and more!

Years of live performance have honed Bertrand’s original material, giving it a sharp-witted and uniquely poetic edge. His performances are dynamic, with folksy and reflective storytelling alongside impressive improvisational skills on the guitar, creating truly magical live moments. 🌍🎶

When not performing solo, Bertrand collaborates with musician Ben Scruggs in an acoustic duo. They co-host the locally-loved radio program 'Keepin’ It Local' on Mankato’s 89.7 KMSU ‘The Maverick’ and contribute to 'Song of the Day' segments on Minnesota Public Radio.

Additionally, Bertrand performs in two cover bands, showcasing his versatility: singing bass in The Schell’s Angels and both electric and acoustic guitar in The Ostrom Brothers Band. 🎸
