Sunday May 31st, the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) can’t wait to welcome back for the first time in awhile Rocky Vermeil and Queen City Blues for Blues Sunday! This incredible 6 pieces Rockin’ Blues band with a horn section will be bringing their incredible blues music to our stage! Blues fans, you definitely don’t want to miss this one as take it from us, this band is the real deal! The show starts at 7pm, there’s no cover!Rocky Verweel and Queen City Blues is a six piece band with a 2 piece horn section covering classic Blues and R&B tunes ranging from the 50’s to the present day. The Band consists of; Rocky Verweel on Lead Vocals and Keys , Steve Chadwick on Bass , Chris Perkins on Guitar ,Simon Wallis on Tenor sax Jim Mc Grath on Trumpet and Gerry Fielding on Drums and Back-up VocalsYou’ll no doubt recognize their exciting arrangements of tunes by artists such as Muddy Waters , Johnny Winter ,Ray Charles , Little Milton , Bobby Bland , Tyrone Davis , B.B. and Albert King ,Garry Moore and many more .
