Welcome to Roots, an engaging English-speaking forum in Malmö that unites voices from civil society, rights organisations, and community members to discuss vital issues of migration, belonging, and human rights.
👉 Join us for a day filled with insightful lectures, interactive discussions, and a thought-provoking panel talk:
- 🔸 Vinh Philips Ingvason Nguyên will present on belonging, HIV, and identity.
- 🔸 Anna Lie from Malmö Mot Diskriminering will share practical insights on discrimination and rights, offering guidance and support.
- 🔸 Malcolm Momodou Jallow from Afrosvenskarnas Forum för Rättvisa will explore decolonial perspectives, health systems, and media stereotypes.
After lunch, enjoy a dynamic panel discussion featuring representatives from Afrosvenskarnas Forum för Rättvisa, RFSL Malmö, Noaks Ark Mosaik, alongside community members. The panel will be moderated by Yahia Saleh, project leader at RFSU Malmö.
