Building on the fun we had last year, we’re excited to continue this annual celebration! 🎉 Join us in piloting a fresh approach to understanding the intricate tapestry of Christianity—acknowledging both its liberatory aspects and its problematic parts. This is a space for community exploration, where we embrace the entirety of Christian tradition.

On Mary's feast day, July 22, we'll delve into who Mary Magdalene really was, alongside reading passages from the Gospel of Mary—one of the Gnostic gospels that surfaced in the 5th century. 🕊️

Under the guidance of Pastor Marisa, participants will receive historical context and insights on New Testament writings. Together, we’ll discover what this powerful woman and saint can teach us about resilience, devotion, and spiritual freedom in our turbulent times. 🌍✨ Feel free to wear red or bring your favorite devotional items, as these personal connections might resonate with others in our community!
