Join us at Vera’s screen print studio for our engaging four-hour Open Sessions, where participants who have completed the introductory class can unleash their creativity in our well-equipped lab! 🖌️✨
Each Open Session is supervised by a friendly volunteer moderator who is ready to offer advice and guidance based on what you learned in the Screen Printing 101 class.
Ticket Options
Choose from three different ticket types for your Open Session:
- Vacuum Table: Ideal for paper and flat media
- T-shirt Press: Perfect for shirts, tote bags, and other fabrics
- Screen Prep: Focused solely on preparing screens
Each ticket is limited to two per person, and if your desired ticket type is sold out, please join the waitlist to get notified when a spot opens up! 🚀
Facilities Provided by Vera
- Rentable screens
- Emulsion and emulsion remover
- Squeegees
- Basic tools like spatulas, rulers, tape, etc.
What You Need to Bring
- Your own substrate (paper, t-shirts, etc.)
- Water-based ink (Note: Non-water-based inks are not allowed in our studio)
FAQs
- Can Vera print a transparent stencil for me?
Yes! Just send us your stencil at least 24 hours in advance. The file must be a .PDF, up to 12" x 18", and ready to print. Stencils are $5 each and payable on-site.
- Need direct assistance on your projects?
Our moderators can assist with any topics from the SP 101 class. For one-on-one guidance, contact us for private tutoring requests at matt@theveraproject.org.
- What if the Open Session is full?
We have limited space and high demand. If there are no slots, email us at matt@theveraproject.org for private rental rates.
