Shut Up and Write - In-person at Sana'a Cafe! - Monday Nights

Join us as we delve into our creative writing sessions in person for the first time since the pandemic! The beloved Shut Up and Write, once hosted at Crossroads Café in SF, has now found a new home at Sana'a Cafe, located at 199 New Montgomery Street, San Francisco, CA 94105.

Indulge in delicious Yemenite coffee, aromatic tea, warming chai, refreshing iced chocolate, and various delectable pastries to keep your creativity flowing. When you arrive, please make sure to stop by the "Shut Up & Write" sign so we can welcome you properly. 😊

All forms of writing are encouraged—whether it's poetry, prose, non-fiction, academic work, or anything in between. There’s no need for critiques here; instead, enjoy the camaraderie, accountability, and support of fellow writers.

Here's what you can expect during our sessions:

• 6:30 PM: Introductions and casual chat
• 6:40 PM: Writing time starts
• 7:50 PM: Check-in and wrap up

Attendance is FREE, but we kindly ask you to purchase a drink or snack occasionally to support our delightful venue. ☕🥐 Feel free to stay longer; the café will remain open until 10:00 PM!
