Join fellow writers for an hour (or up to ninety minutes) of focused writing time! 📚✍️ No matter your genre—from fiction and non-fiction to poetry, memoirs, PR, or script writing—come and work alongside like-minded creatives at Cafe Laurent, located at 12034 Venice Blvd. in the charming Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Settle into our designated table on the beautiful, covered patio. Arrive a few minutes early to enjoy a delicious treat or breakfast before we kick things off at 10:00 sharp! 🍽️✨

What to Expect:

• 9:50 - Intros / Greetings / Get Settled
• 10:00 - Timer starts: write for a pre-determined time
• Finish - Share a sentence or two if you'd like, engage in discussions, or stick around to keep writing!

No worries if you arrive late or need to leave early—just come as you are! We're a relaxed group, and there's no need to RSVP—just show up! 😌

Important Notes:

• No internet access at the cafe! Be prepared with a personal hotspot.
• The only day we cancel is on all Monday holidays.
• There's nearby parking available at the corner of Grand View and Venice (more expensive) and street parking options as well.
