In this immersive experience, we’ll use our voices and singing as pathways to delve into grief—whether it stems from losing a loved one, the end of relationships, or the loss of hope and purpose. Rather than functioning as a therapeutic session, this workshop offers a shared artistic and somatic journey.
Drawing from Eastern European folk songs that embody themes of loss, mourning, and death, we will tap into collective memories that facilitate access to grief without the need for narrative explanations.
The second part of our workshop features a guided voice meditation circle in complete darkness. Through sustained tones, breath, and gentle vocalizations, we will co-create a sound environment that promotes relaxation, stimulates the vagus nerve, and aids in regulating our nervous systems. The enveloping darkness allows for introspection, minimizing the pressure of visibility and performance.
Led in English by the talented singer and instructor Weronika Regosz, this workshop promises a unique exploration of the shadows within.
👕 What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, a water bottle, and a notebook to jot down your reflections.
