Join us for an exciting showcase at Berkeley's SportsTech Pitch Competition! 🌟

Students will present the MVPs they've developed throughout the semester, followed by a mixer with light refreshments and networking opportunities. 🤝

What is Sports Tech?

SportsTech is a hands-on 'Challenge Lab' course offered at Berkeley's Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (S.C.E.T). Here, students form startup teams to create MVPs, engaging in ideation, validation, and prototyping, leading up to the big pitch day! 🚀

This semester, over 70 students across 15 teams will participate, with the top 6 teams presenting their innovations on demo day. The course emphasizes both entrepreneurship and the development of practical skills. 🛠️

Pitch Day Context

The top teams from this event will have the opportunity to advance to the Collider Cup, Berkeley's leading student startup pitch competition. In previous years, SportsTech teams have achieved remarkable placements, securing 1st, 3rd, and another 3rd. Alumni teams have successfully entered prestigious programs like Y Combinator and Plug and Play.

For the second consecutive year, we’re collaborating with the athletic department to host this pre-pitch competition, selecting our top team to represent us at the Collider Cup. 🏅

Who Should Attend?

This event welcomes all individuals eager to support student builders and student-athletes. Capacity is limited to 120 attendees—please RSVP only if you plan to join us! 📌
