Star-Spangled Celebration on the River 2026

Join us for a fun-filled Fourth of July experience at the Star-Spangled Celebration on the River! 🇺🇸

Hosted by the Downtown Hattiesburg Association and the Petal Area Chamber of Commerce, this family-friendly event will take place in Hattiesburg’s Chain Park and Petal River Park. Enjoy live music, various activities, and a dedicated kids zone, all while feasting from a selection of food vendors lining both sides of the Leaf River.

Admission is FREE! Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and get ready to relax and enjoy the festivities. Note: Coolers, pets, glass, tents, and personal fireworks (including sparklers) are not allowed at the event.

Limited parking is available on-site, but offsite parking with shuttle service will be provided.
