Join us for an engaging session focused on deepening your understanding of AI existential risk! 🤖✨ Through lively debates, you'll explore core arguments and counter-arguments surrounding the potential threats posed by advanced AI.

Whether you feel convinced that AI could lead to catastrophic outcomes for humanity, or you're skeptical about its ability to become an autonomous threat, this is the perfect opportunity to strengthen your views! 💬🔍

What to Expect:

• Core Premises: We’ll introduce key loss-of-control scenarios where advanced AI might cause extinction or significant harm.
• Debate Format: Participants will randomly draw premises and "steelman" objections—arguing against them as a skeptic. Then, defend your position while engaging with partners who support the premise.
• Rotate & Engage: Switch partners and premises multiple times to experience a wide range of arguments and opinions.
• Group Discussion: Conclude with a collaborative discussion to reflect on insights and the evolution of your beliefs.

Prior knowledge of AI safety is helpful but not mandatory. All you need is a basic grasp of the topics discussed.
