Stochastic Labs presents: Lance Weiler + The Dead Internet Museum

O události

Welcome to the Dead Internet Museum (DIM)! 🌐✨ This innovative project envisions a near-future Internet influenced by automation, synthetic media, invisible labor, surveillance, and compliance. Co-created by The Last Human Collective, DIM blends immersive theatre, participatory design, and play, transforming visitors into active participants.

DIM has evolved through several public prototypes, showcasing at Lincoln Center and the Museum of the Moving Image. Each iteration is shaped by audience feedback, experimentation, and participation, leading up to the upcoming 10,000-square-foot immersive exhibition at MAD Arts this fall.

The Dead Internet Museum is currently being developed through the Stochastic Labs summer residency.

Founded in 2013, the Columbia University Digital Storytelling Lab (Columbia DSL) is an incubator for innovative storytelling at the intersection of art, technology, and design.
