Sugarloaf Hill Hike

Join us for a memorable hike at Sugarloaf, a favorite spot that was part of our inaugural Girls Gone Hiking adventure back in 2024! 🌄 This trail is perfect for those seeking a relaxed outdoor experience, far from the crowded paths of Cold Spring.

We'll gather at Grand Central Terminal and take the Metro North train to Garrison, starting our journey together! After the hike, feel free to enjoy a leisurely lunch in Cold Spring. 🍽️

About the hike:

• Difficulty: Easy
• Distance: 5.3 Miles
• Elevation Gain: 823 ft
• Route Type: Out and Back

Itinerary:

• 8:30 AM: Meet at Grand Central Terminal to board the 8:56 AM Metro North train #8811. (Please arrive on time; we cannot wait for latecomers!)
• 10:12 AM: Arrive at Garrison Station and begin the Glenclyffe Loop hike to Sugarloaf Hill.
• 1:00 PM: Optional lunch in Cold Spring, just a quick train stop away!
• 2:56 PM: Return train to Grand Central (typically every 60 minutes if you wish to stay longer).

What to bring:

• 1-2 L of water 💦
• Comfortable shoes 👟
• Hat & SPF 🌞
• Trail snacks 🍏
