Summer 2026 | OAP Summer Canoe the Sturgeon

Join the Outdoor Adventure Program (OAP) for a serene canoe experience on the beautiful Sturgeon River in Chassell, just 10 miles from campus! Enjoy a leisurely paddle, as OAP provides transportation, canoes, paddles, personal flotation devices (PFDs), trailers, and experienced trip leaders to guide you along the way. This relaxing trip takes approximately 3 hours, navigating easy, slow-moving waters and is suitable for all skill levels.

🌊 Event Highlights:

• All Ages Welcome: Open to participants of all ages!
• Parental Guidance: Those under 12 must be accompanied by a parent.
• Pre-registration Required: Ensure your spot by registering ahead of time.
• Meeting Point: Participants will gather at the OAP Rental Center / Tech Trail Head 30 minutes prior to departure.

• Trip 1: Saturday, June 20 | 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM (Registration closes June 16)
• Trip 2: Saturday, July 25 | 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM (Registration closes July 21)
• Trip 3: Saturday, August 22 | 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM (Registration closes August 18)
