Since forming in 2006, the quartet has developed a distinctive sound built around inventive compositions, rich arrangements and an instinctive connection to the dance floor. Between them, the group’s members are involved in a huge range of influential folk projects across Belgium and beyond, bringing together diatonic accordion, violin, mandola, guitar, bagpipes and more into a powerful and deeply musical quartet sound.Hartwin & Ross are celebrated for their energetic and highly danceable take on traditional and contemporary folk music.
