Summer on the Lawn: Pickup Truck Opera

What better way to spend a summer evening than soaking in mesmerizing music and sparking your creativity? Join MHC and Mixed Precipitation along with fellow attendees for the Pickup Truck Opera presentation of “The Tales of Hoffmann.”

Embark on a journey through wild adventures where past meets future. Experience the thrilling tales of a wandering poet who encounters ghosts, robots, magicians, and shape-shifting demons in a quest for love and artistic inspiration! This contemporary mashup boasts a vibrant mix of 90’s grunge, R&B, and opera classics.

🌳 Kick back, relax, and revel in a musical extravaganza on the MHC lawn! Feel free to bring picnic supplies, lawn chairs, sun umbrellas, and blankets. Just a heads up: the performance takes place in an open field with minimal shade, so come prepared. 🚻 Restrooms will be available for use at the Minnesota Humanities Event Center.
