Celebrate the Tennessee Triennial Weekend with a vibrant two-day event filled with art, music, film, and family-friendly fun in Knoxville! 🎉
Kick off at the Knoxville Museum of Art from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM with KMA’s Mini Giant-Puppet Parade, created with Cattywampus, accompanied by the lively sounds of the Honkers & Bangers.
Everyone is welcome to join the festivities—whether marching in the parade or cheering from the sidelines! Create your own colorful puppet at 10:00 AM (or bring one from home) and join the parade winding through the museum grounds starting at 11:15 AM. The celebration wraps up with a puppet dance party for all ages! 💃🕺
Later, head to Central Cinema at 2:00 PM for a delightful holiday-themed double feature:
Continue the celebration with an interactive Musical Zoo presented by the Joy of Music School. This drop-in experience will be available from 1:00 PM–4:00 PM, as part of the regular 2nd Sunday Art Activity.
Don't forget the final gallery talk for Wayne White: Revenge of the Knoxville Girl. This is your last chance to experience the exhibition alongside the artist and engage in insightful conversations!
Join us for a memorable weekend celebrating creativity, community, and the arts! 🌟
