About the Event:
The Trails and Open Space Coalition and the Papeton-Cragmor Parks Coalition invite you to make a difference! The One Bag Challenge is a simple idea: if everyone picks up just one bag of litter, we can create a significant impact together. 🌍💪

These enjoyable, family-friendly cleanups are perfect for everyone, whether you're a seasoned volunteer or joining your first stewardship event. Most cleanups last under an hour, making it easy to give back while enjoying the outdoors.

Since its launch in 2024, the One Bag Challenge has seen over 120 cleanups completed, removing thousands of pounds of litter from various locations, from parks to waterways. Each cleanup contributes to protecting wildlife habitats, improving water quality, and enhancing the outdoor experience for all. 🦋💧

What to Expect:

• 🕐 25 minutes of litter picking
• 🔍 10 minutes analyzing what we found
• 🎨 10 minutes engaging in a community art project

This is your chance to bond with fellow community members who are passionate about keeping Colorado Springs beautiful! Parking is available, but feel free to carpool, bike, or walk if possible. 🚴‍♂️🚶‍♀️
