Urban Farm Volunteers

Join us at our one-acre Urban Farm for a fulfilling volunteer experience! Whether you're new to farming or a seasoned weekly volunteer, your help is invaluable in managing our important urban educational agricultural resource.

Every Sunday, we tackle farm chores with assistance from the NYC Compost Project, powered by Big Reuse, as we work on our 5-bin compost system to create essential organic matter for our planting beds. 🌼

Important Details:

• Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Ages 16 & 17 can volunteer with a signed waiver from a parent or guardian (downloadable here).
• This event is for community individuals, not groups larger than 5. For larger groups, please contact us at volunteers@randallsisland.org.
• New volunteers must register for participation.
