Build your confidence in urban sketching with pen and watercolor! 🎨 This workshop focuses on fast and loose lines, clear color choices, and trusting your instincts. You'll dive into practical techniques that help you work faster, hesitate less, and develop your own unique sketching style.

Guided by Ruud Otten, you will receive easy-to-apply tips and techniques designed to elevate your urban sketches. Learn to consciously observe composition and utilize color, contrast, and focus to strengthen your sketches, all while boosting your confidence with watercolor and ink.

• Session 2: Observations and Thumbnail Studies
• Session 3: Building Blocks and Line Sketching
• Session 4: Color Application and Experimentation
• Session 5: Contrast, Focus, and Highlights

Join a friendly group of like-minded sketchers! There will be plenty of time to sketch, along with personalized tips tailored to your unique style. 🌟 You'll receive a mini palette with Ruud's handmade watercolor paints to keep, and discover how a more fluid sketching style can enhance your experience.

12 hours of instruction on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, from 10:00–17:00 (with a one-hour lunch break; lunch not included).
