Explore how literature has conceptualized and represented the scientific across various epochs, from proto-scientific reflections to contemporary issues surrounding Big Tech and the implications of science in our lives.
We invite you to delve into themes such as:
- The fears and hopes tied to scientific advancement
- Financial entanglements in science
- The ethics surrounding experimentation
- Gendered perspectives in scientific discourse
- The portrayal of science in literature and its metaphoric implications
- Responses to major scientific revolutions
- And much more!
We encourage doctoral candidates, as well as undergraduate and graduate students, to submit an abstract of 150-200 words along with a brief bio of 30-50 words to litandscience2026@gmail.com. 📧

Notification of acceptance: by the end of September
