
Vipassana meditation; a way to recover from childhood trauma

This enriching weekend course specifically addresseschildhood trauma—a significant psychological injury that can stem from overwhelming experiences during early years.
Untreated childhood trauma may lead topost-traumatic stress, which is often associated with substance abuse, anxiety, depression, emotional flashbacks, and dysfunctional relationships in later life. Gain insight into these effects and embark on a safe recovery journey through structured practices ofmindfulness, loving-kindness, intention, virtue, and kindness.Vegetarian lunchand tea/coffee will be provided. The course is priced at1,250 Kč per day, with teaching offered on a donation basis. Instruction will be conducted inEnglish.

Note: This course is not suitable for individuals experiencing acute psychological conditions such as bipolar disorder. Participants are encouraged to read Pete Walker’s book, "Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving," available for free in PDF format online, with an audiobook for purchase.
