VSMF@30 - Poiesis Quartet and Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt

Join us as we celebrate VSMF's 30th anniversary season! 🎉 The award-winning Poiesis Quartet, winners of the 2025 Banff International String Quartet Competition First Prize, will be performing alongside the acclaimed violist Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt.

Renowned for their "palpable chemistry and remarkable warmth" (San Francisco Classical Voice), Poiesis Quartet focuses on enhancing the string quartet repertoire with lively pieces by emerging composers. 🎻✨ Milena has been praised by The Strad for her "lyricism that stood out . . . a silky tone and beautiful, supple lines," making her one of the most sought-after violists of her generation.

This concert will feature captivating music by Lang, Wiancko, Lambright, and Coleridge-Taylor. Don't miss the pre-concert talk at 2:00 PM!
