
Waterfront Workouts: Pilates
Join us for rejuvenating free Pilates classes at Brooklyn Bridge Park! 🌿 Stretch and strengthen your body in these all-levels sessions that welcome individuals of all ages and fitness backgrounds. Each one-hour class is expertly guided by the enthusiastic instructors from Dodge YMCA as part of the vibrant Waterfront Workouts series running from May through September.
Pilates focuses on enhancing your strength with a particular emphasis on core muscles, including the abs, back, and glutes. Experience the benefits of low-impact exercises that rely on controlled movements, mindful breathing, and proper alignment. 🌟
No special equipment is necessary, but you're welcome to bring your own yoga mats or towels to make your practice more comfortable on the grass. A limited number of yoga mats will also be available to borrow.
While we encourage advance registration, walk-ins are welcome based on space availability. Please note that all participants must complete a fitness waiver before joining.
